Key Responsibilities

  • •Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, manuals, and written/verbal instructions.
  • •Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment (e.g., pneumatic tools, motors, conveyor systems) using testing instruments, hand and power tools, and precision-measuring instruments.
  • •Perform electrical maintenance including testing circuits, inspecting wiring for shielding/grounding, troubleshooting malfunctions, and repairing complex electrical equipment and automated machines.
  • •Follow a strict preventive maintenance schedule, maintain maintenance/repair logs, and report shift metrics for breakdown downtime and part availability.
  • •Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and production floor, including proper inspection of shop equipment in accordance with OSHA regulations, and support production/facilities with readiness of new machines and equipment.

Key Requirements

  • •Trade School Certification (or Associates) in Industrial Maintenance, or equivalent journeyman's level training and experience preferred.
  • •Minimum 3 years experience as an Industrial Electrician Multi-craft (Electrical and Mechanical) Maintenance Technician preferred.
  • •Knowledge of plant utility systems maintenance & operations, and industrial machine repair/reliability techniques.
  • •Ability to work from prints/technical drawings and follow technical & non-technical documents related to machine mechanical and electrical systems.
  • •Working knowledge of 3-phase & control power and basic input/output electrical devices, including relay logic, DC drives, and PLC systems.
