Key Responsibilities

  • •Report to the CEO to lead, mentor, and grow a 15+ person, multi-disciplinary engineering team.
  • •Collaborate with leadership to align engineering initiatives with company goals and the roadmap.
  • •Drive product design by architecting team structure and engineering processes to reach deployed reality.
  • •Scale engineering operations from R&D through manufacturing, transitioning from prototypes to full production.
  • •Establish and continuously improve engineering management processes and set excellence standards for development, testing, and documentation.

Salary: USD 180,000 - 300,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in an engineering leadership role.
  • •Overseen multiple development cycles end-to-end and shipped complex electromechanical systems.
  • •Strong verbal and written communication skills with excellent interpersonal relationship management.
  • •Ability to roll up your sleeves when needed while keeping broader organizational goals and context.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Robotics, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field; based in or able to relocate to the SF Bay Area.
