Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain an individual pipeline of underwriting work to support Business Banking production.
  • •Review financial and credit application information to make sound credit decisions for complex structures and exposures up to $10MM.
  • •Utilize single approval authority up to $4MM and appropriately assess borrower risk profile.
  • •Train and mentor new hires, and support UWI, UW II, and UW III job families as needed.
  • •Collaborate with credit and segment risk to meet or exceed department goals and provide manager backup as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree.
  • •7+ years’ experience with business or commercial underwriting in a centralized lending environment.
  • •Ability to underwrite credit exposures in excess of $4MM.
  • •Previous authority to underwrite and decide credits without additional signers.
  • •Proficient use of Microsoft Office and other internet resources.
