Key Responsibilities

  • •Apply geotechnical design with a high degree of independence and support junior team members.
  • •Lead the geotechnical input to projects from desk study/feasibility through to ground investigation and interpretation to final design, including preparation of specifications, ground investigation reports, construction drawings and geotechnical design reports.
  • •Oversee projects ensuring adherence to programme and budget.
  • •Collaborate with colleagues across the UK & Ireland to deliver diverse ground engineering projects.
  • •Travel across the UK to support project delivery where required.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng / MEng in Civil Engineering or BSc and/or MSc in Geotechnical Engineering.
  • •Chartered Engineer (IEng/CEng) status is preferred or on track to achieve this within the next year.
  • •Strong knowledge of UK ground conditions and ground investigation practices.
  • •Demonstrable understanding of current design codes, standards, and best practices in geotechnical design.
  • •Ability to collaborate closely in project delivery, work winning and maintaining high levels of client satisfaction.
