Key Responsibilities

•Design and develop distributed KV caching and Redis-compatible KV storage systems optimized for low latency, high throughput, and high availability.
•Build planet-scale reliability through HA architecture, failure isolation, and multi-AZ/multi-region disaster recovery and stability engineering.
•Improve compute and storage efficiency across CPU, memory, IO, and network, including cache hierarchy design and capacity planning for large request traffic.
•Create a production-grade operations and observability ecosystem with automated orchestration and monitoring (tracing, profiling, incident runbooks).
•Implement and evolve capabilities such as bulkload, backup & restore, point-in-time recovery, tiered storage, and integrations with data systems.

Key Requirements

•BS or higher in Computer Science (or related) or equivalent practical experience.
•Strong coding skills in one or more languages (C, C++, Java, Go, Python, Rust) in a Linux environment.
•Solid fundamentals in distributed systems, database/storage principles, networking, and multi-threaded programming with strong debugging and performance analysis.
•Hands-on experience building or operating large-scale distributed systems with high QPS/concurrency and clear improvements to stability, performance, and cost.
•Strong product-oriented mindset and initiative with effective project management skills.
