Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide on-site supervision of the LWD process, including tool preparations, data acquisition, log generation, and quality control.
  • •Learn and perform the LWD service line responsibilities under strict supervision.
  • •Serve as the third man in a subordinate role and provide technical/operational expertise to external customers.
  • •Maintain equipment inventory and supervise movement to and from the well site, including checking equipment and advising repairs.
  • •Maintain a computer database for ongoing jobs, prepare job tickets, and produce daily and end-of-well reports.

Key Requirements

  • •Completion of a high school diploma (or equivalent) with no previous experience required.
  • •Demonstrated technical aptitude to required standards and ability to read and interpret formation well logs and directional survey information.
  • •Must possess relevant on- and offshore safety certificates.
  • •Must successfully pass company tests or meet task guideline requirements.
  • •Ability to maintain accurate data entry and recording skills for ongoing jobs and reporting.
