Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead initiatives to improve safety, quality, productivity, and reduce costs, including prioritizing safety concerns.
  • •Provide day-to-day manufacturing engineering support by investigating, analyzing, and troubleshooting product design, materials, tooling, equipment, and processes.
  • •Develop or improve manufacturing equipment/fixtures/tooling and create and improve manufacturing documentation, standard work, and operator method sheets.
  • •Use value stream mapping and process modification recommendations to reduce waste, improve safety, and implement cost reduction projects.
  • •Support capital and new product launch efforts, including cost justification/project plans, coordination of change management (MCO’s), and establishing/auditing engineering specifications, BOMs, routers, standards, and process FMEA’s.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited institution.
  • •Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • •Candidate must be a U.S. person (ITAR definition).

  • •Preferred: experience with mechanical or aerospace engineering, PPAP, lean/6 sigma, and leading capex or process development projects (3–5 years process development preferred).
