Key Responsibilities

  • •Work with software engineers to implement security controls and remediate findings from security assessments and code reviews.
  • •Apply software craftsmanship practices (maintainable design, automated testing, refactoring, code quality) to implement secure software solutions.
  • •Design, develop, and integrate security capabilities and reusable components into Philips products and platforms.
  • •Integrate security tooling into CI/CD pipelines for automated SSDLC testing and improve monitoring, logging, and auditing.
  • •Review code for vulnerabilities, improve design quality, and partner with architects to build secure, scalable architectures across embedded, cloud, connected, desktop, and AI products.

Key Requirements

  • •Must be currently living in the Netherlands.
  • •Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering, IT, cybersecurity, electrical/computer engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • •At least 5 years in software development and software product security, plus experience with application security, secure software development, DevSecOps, or equivalent.
  • •Preferred security certifications such as CSSLP, CISSP, CISM, or GSEC.
  • •Strong experience translating threat models and security guidance into technical solutions and implementing secure development practices.
