Key Responsibilities

  • •Conduct comprehensive inspections, maintenance, fabrication, repair, and testing of aviation life support equipment.
  • •Source, document, track, and manage equipment discrepancies, status, records, and work actions per Boeing and military standards.
  • •Execute end-to-end procedures to ensure escape, egress, and survival equipment meets regulatory and program-specific requirements.
  • •Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deconflict ALSS discrepancies impacting flight crew availability/readiness and critical test milestones.
  • •Provide initial and recurring training on egress procedures and water survival for flight crews and domestic/international customers.

Key Requirements

  • •Qualified ALSS technician and/or parachute rigger, able to handle recovery and drogue parachute assemblies to ensure safety and operational readiness.
  • •Aviation Life Support Systems Technician Certificate through a U.S. military service, FAA certification, or an equivalent recognized program.
  • •5+ years of experience with Aviation Life Support Equipment.
  • •5+ years of experience packing parachutes for ejection seats on military fighter aircraft.
  • •Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance requiring U.S. Citizenship, and 40% travel willingness.
