Job Summary

Serve as the technical interface for ThousandEyes, partnering with sales to uncover opportunities, demonstrate capabilities, and guide prospects through trials. Scope and architect solution deployments and present results to decision makers. Collaborate with Solutions Engineering, Marketing, Product Management/Engineering, and Customer Success to share technical wins, provide customer feedback, support events, and accelerate growth of AI-powered digital experience assurance.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Support the technical sales process by assisting technical prospecting and demonstrating solutions and use-cases.
•Build and maintain trusted technical advisor relationships with customers and support customers during solution trials.
•Scope and architect solution deployments, and present to decision makers during trial wrap-up meetings.
•Participate in Solutions Engineering team activities, including sharing technical wins, challenges, and demonstration materials.
•Coordinate with Marketing, Product Management/Engineering, and Customer Success to provide feedback, support events, and drive solution strategy.

Key Requirements

•10+ years of relevant industry experience, with 5+ years as a solution engineer preferred.
•Excellent presentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•Strong understanding of application and network protocols such as HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, and BGP.
•Knowledge of application and network infrastructures and unified communications.
•Experience with application/network performance analysis, packet analysis, and scripting languages (Python, Perl, JavaScript).
