Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Nuclear Technical Lead and Department Manager with strategic resourcing initiatives and lead technical development of structural engineers.
  • •Serve as Structural Lead/Engineering of Record and maintain responsibility for deliverable development, including directing originating and contributing to structural calculations, specifications, and drawings.
  • •Lead multi-discipline collaboration on equipment general arrangements, site layouts, facility retrofits, technical specifications, and contractor scope of work.
  • •Develop task and deliverable lists with hours estimates and schedules to support business development activities and improve project efficiencies through standards/templates and recommended software packages/plug-ins.
  • •Provide technical expertise for risk assessments, due diligence, and complex client studies; support projects through feasibility, design, issue-for-bid, construction, start-up, and commissioning.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • •8 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
  • •Experience with power generation and/or heavy industrial facilities (12+ years preferred).
  • •5+ years as a project technical Structural lead/Engineering of Record and familiarity with industry codes and standards.
