Operate a tractor-trailer or single, double, or tri-axle vehicle daily under the direction of the Driver Manager. Load and unload the truck, maneuver into loading/unloading positions, and follow dispatch instructions and applicable laws. Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections with DOT-compliant documentation, ensure mechanical/safety/emergency equipment is in good order, and maintain strict adherence to safety procedures while communicating professionally with coworkers and the public.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive a tractor-trailer or single, double, or tri-axle vehicle as part of daily operations.
•Load and unload the truck and maneuver into loading or unloading positions using signals from the loading crew.
•Check vehicles to ensure mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment are in good working order.
•Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain appropriate documentation in compliance with DOT guidelines and company policies.
•Obey applicable laws, follow dispatch instructions, and follow Environmental, Health & Safety Manual procedures while displaying a professional, courteous attitude.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.35 - 26.89 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Valid State CDL-B or CDL-A license.
•Minimum of three (3) years of related construction field experience preferred.
•Understanding of Smith Driving System is a plus.
