Job Summary

Oversee safety performance and safety development across assigned airport/airside construction projects and business units in Dallas, TX during a graveyard/night shift. Assess safety needs using hazard and incident trends, set and evaluate inspection criteria, and ensure compliance with federal, state, local, corporate, and client safety regulations. Lead OSHA and third-party inspections, crisis/incident response, training, and Job Hazard Analysis, while mentoring site operations and managing safety-related consultants.

•Manage and support direct reports, including staffing recommendations, check-ins, and yearly performance evaluations.
•Assess safety needs across multiple projects/business units, using hazard and incident data to identify trends and determine focus areas.
•Set safety inspection criteria and expectations, evaluate inspection performance, and mentor Operations/Site Operations in the safety inspection process.
•Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures, including reviewing inspections with airside operations and addressing subcontractor safety performance.
•Lead OSHA or third-party safety inspections and crisis/incident response and investigations; develop and deliver safety toolbox meetings, Job Hazard Analysis, and onsite safety training.

Pay and Benefits

Key Requirements

•BA/BS in safety or a related field with 6 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
•Willingness to work graveyard/night shift.
•CHST, CSP, or equivalent professional safety designation.
•Construction safety background including comprehensive understanding of high-hazard technical areas (e.g., cranes, fall protection, scaffold, excavation, electrical).
•Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to assess and prioritize multiple business unit needs.
