Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform duties throughout foundry areas following standard procedures and work instructions.
  • •Transport materials, castings, and/or equipment using fork truck or payloader.
  • •Use rough grinding equipment and bench grinders to remove parting lines, gates, risers, flash, and other surface defects.
  • •Operate power equipment to cut sprues, gates, risers, and runners; operate bandsaw and change blades as required.
  • •Set up and operate molding and cleaning equipment (automatic molding machines, power vac, shot blast cleaning) and perform minor maintenance while maintaining QC standards.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 19.77 hourly

  • •Ability to read and follow instructions, including the use and reading of fixed gauges and other instruments.
  • •Reside within the immediate area of Syracuse, NY (50 miles) to be considered.
  • •Follow prescribed or standard safety regulations.
  • •Detect and report defective materials and refer questionable cases to proper supervision.
