Remote Operator will remotely control tunneling equipment, including the Tunnel Boring Machine, from the Global Operations Control Center (GOCC). You’ll follow strict procedures, document mining-process failures affecting cost, speed, and reliability, and develop work instructions and bills of materials to standardize operations. Ensure compliance with safety protocols, help build training programs for field personnel, and stay current on tunneling technology while working long hours with occasional travel to projects.
