Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage, oversee, and coordinate all phases of assigned construction projects, from pre-construction through close-out.
  • •Review and provide feedback on pre-construction documents to align with LAUSD standards.
  • •Monitor and report project status and progress to senior management.
  • •Supervise contractors’ daily activities and coordinate responses to contractor inquiries and substitution submittals.
  • •Manage project budgets and schedules, administer change orders and payments, and complete closeout with final DSA certification and financial reconciliation.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 130,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •10 years of full-time paid professional experience in construction and/or project and construction management for commercial or public/educational facility construction.
  • •At least 3 years coordinating complex projects valued at over $10 million.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management; or any field with ability to complete a CCM credential within one year at LAUSD; or a valid CCM credential in lieu of a degree.
  • •Knowledge of OSHA Safety Regulations (OSHA 30 minimum certification required).
  • •Preferred: Design-Build experience, BIM proficiency, and familiarity with LEED/CHPS and DSA design/construction processes.
