Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide birth and postpartum doula care as part of Loula’s independent doula provider network.
  • •Participate in Loula’s screening process by submitting an interest form.
  • •Get credentialed with major Medicaid and commercial insurance plans in California with Loula’s support.
  • •Receive client referrals through Loula’s client referral/doula matching program.
  • •Maintain required trainings and documentation (CPR, HIPAA, liability insurance) to remain eligible to partner.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100 - 134 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Complete either: 16 hours of birth doula training AND attended 3 births as a doula, OR 5 years of doula experience with 3 letters of recommendation.
  • •Adult and infant CPR training.
  • •HIPAA training.
  • •Liability insurance.
