Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare feasibility study reports and assemble design specifications compliant with client/employer requirements, monitoring delivery to deadlines.
  • •Define scope of works and building requirements with the Singapore C&S Team to enable detailed design.
  • •Carry out detailed structural design and complex calculations in line with standard codes, performing QA/technical reviews and signing off with the team.
  • •Review and monitor production of calculations and design progress, completing project delivery plan information and communicating design decisions.
  • •Assist with tender documents, manage day-to-day queries with WSP India ME team, follow document control/QA processes, and coach junior staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with membership to an accredited engineering body.
  • •8+ years of experience in building projects, with proven structural design experience in a similar role.
  • •Ability to produce and review detailed design outputs, including complex calculations, in accordance with standard codes and QA processes.
  • •Strong management, communication, and technical skills, with the ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • •Fluency in English and strong presentation skills to explain design decisions and provide regular project updates.
