Own and evolve payment products for the EU market, driving the full lifecycle across accounts, international transfers, cards, digital wallets, FIAT currencies, and stablecoins. Oversee clearing and settlement infrastructure (e.g., SWIFT, EBA Clearing, TIPS) and ensure payment standards like SEPA and ISO 20022. Partner with technical, legal/compliance, AML, payments operations, sales, and external financial partners, while optimizing treasury and cash management for liquidity and fund safety.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead EU expansion by building and managing payment products, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
•Own the product lifecycle across accounts, international transfers, cards, digital payments, digital wallets, FIAT currencies, and stablecoins (e-money tokens).
•Establish and oversee clearing and settlement systems (SWIFT, EBA Clearing, TIPS) and maintain payment standards (SEPA / ISO 20022).
•Design internal treasury and cash management systems to optimize liquidity and fund safety.
•Serve as the interface between technical teams and legal/compliance, AML, payments operations, sales, and external financial partners.

Key Requirements

•Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, with at least 5+ years of payments experience within a bank, e-money institution, or payment service provider (PSP).
•Strong knowledge of payment protocols (SWIFT, SEPA), clearing systems, and payment product architecture (wallets, currency exchange, e-money tokens).
•Deep understanding of European regulatory requirements including PSD2/PSD3, E-Money Act, AMLD, GDPR, and DORA, with familiarity with safeguarding client funds.
•Professional fluency in English and German.
•Ability to thrive in a fast-paced 24/7/365 operational environment and work independently with precision.
