Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead EU expansion by building and managing payment products, ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
  • •Own the product lifecycle across accounts, international transfers, cards, digital payments, digital wallets, FIAT currencies, and stablecoins (e-money tokens).
  • •Establish and oversee clearing and settlement systems (SWIFT, EBA Clearing, TIPS) and maintain payment standards (SEPA / ISO 20022).
  • •Design internal treasury and cash management systems to optimize liquidity and fund safety.
  • •Serve as the interface between technical teams and legal/compliance, AML, payments operations, sales, and external financial partners.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Economics, Finance, or a related field, with at least 5+ years of payments experience within a bank, e-money institution, or payment service provider (PSP).
  • •Strong knowledge of payment protocols (SWIFT, SEPA), clearing systems, and payment product architecture (wallets, currency exchange, e-money tokens).
  • •Deep understanding of European regulatory requirements including PSD2/PSD3, E-Money Act, AMLD, GDPR, and DORA, with familiarity with safeguarding client funds.
  • •Professional fluency in English and German.
  • •Ability to thrive in a fast-paced 24/7/365 operational environment and work independently with precision.
