Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) and DOT inspections, including follow-up repairs in a mobile/field environment.
  • •Diagnose, adjust, and repair vehicle systems including electrical/brake/cooling, starters/alternators, engine electronics, steering systems, engines, transmissions, clutches, and differentials.
  • •Inspect, test, and road test defective equipment to identify malfunctions using diagnostic tools and sound judgment.
  • •Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck, including safety checks and pre-/post-trip inspections.
  • •Document work per company standards by completing repair orders and DOT forms, uploading photos, and communicating with management/support for approvals and purchase order details.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years of experience in a related field (or an equivalent combination such as additional certification/degree or 5 years’ experience).
  • •At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment.
  • •Possess and supply a set of required hand tools, and participate in all required company training.
  • •Must complete DOT-regulated pre-employment background screening and DOT physical, and hold a current valid DOT medical card as applicable.
  • •Required certifications to be obtained within 18 months (including ASE T8 (PMI) and ASE 608/609, with additional OEM training/certifications preferred).
