Job Summary

Own the operational engine behind Zip’s global workplace portfolio. Lead distributed workplace operations teams to build scalable systems, standards, and playbooks covering vendor strategy, contract governance, security, facilities maintenance, and operational budgeting. Drive safety and security programs, incident response processes, and consistent workplace standards across office and remote experiences. Balance speed, quality, and cost while using operational metrics to continuously raise the operational bar as the business scales.

Key Responsibilities

•Own global vendor strategy and performance, including sourcing, RFPs, contract negotiations, SLAs, KPI development, compliance, credentialing, renewals, and benchmarking.
•Build and evolve the workplace operational framework, creating scalable playbooks, SOPs, escalation paths, incident response protocols, and location-specific operating standards.
•Manage workplace operational budgets and govern contracts, renewals, and spend while identifying risks or opportunities with the Head of Workplace and Finance.
•Lead and develop a distributed onsite workplace team with operating rhythms, coaching, accountability, and consistent service standards across locations.
•Collaborate on safety and security programs and oversee facilities maintenance to keep spaces safe, reliable, and well maintained.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 180,000 - 200,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Significant experience leading Workplace, Facilities, Corporate Real Estate, or Workplace Operations in a high-growth organization, including distributed teams and multi-site operations.
•Experience building, transforming, or scaling a workplace function by establishing systems, standards, and operating rhythms for sustainable growth.
•Strong financial and operational acumen, including operating budgets, contract governance, forecasting, and long-range planning.
•Experience managing global or multi-country workplace operations, including regional compliance requirements and vendor ecosystems.
•Experience partnering on physical security programs, including access control, vendor management, emergency preparedness, and incident response.
