Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely pack a quality productive product while following all safety, GMP and ISO policies.
  • •Maintain a safe work environment and keep good housekeeping practices.
  • •Perform required quality checks and ensure correct boxes, labels, product placement, and correct amount of product.
  • •Read “Traveler” instructions and special instructions, and report bad quality product to the Section Lead.
  • •Set up and operate packing area equipment (tapers, box erectors, label applicators, bin lift/gates, winders) and perform downstream support tasks.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED, preferred.
  • •Ability to work in a team-work oriented environment.
  • •Working knowledge of extrusion/converting equipment and process is desired.
  • •Ability to read and understand documents such as safety rules, procedure manuals and checklists, including a “traveler.”
  • •Ability to perform physical demands of packing work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working around moving machinery/electricity.
