  • •Support and develop others by mentoring fellow underwriters and leading training sessions for agents and colleagues
  • •Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance underwriting processes and customer experience
  • •Represent Symetra professionally in both virtual and in-person settings, with travel as needed

Key Requirements

  • •10-15 years of cumulative, relevant experience in life insurance underwriting
  • •Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with strong underwriting expertise in high-net-worth and foreign national cases
  • •Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with ability to educate and present to agents/partners
  • •Travel ability to client sites and/or seminars; occasional travel required
  • •CLU, FALU and/or FLMI, or working towards these designations; college degree preferred (bachelor's)
