Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and deliver swimming lessons tailored to each swimmer in the class
  • •Ensure safe provision and correct use of all equipment
  • •Establish and enforce safety standards in every lesson
  • •Identify participants' abilities and encourage progress toward their full potential
  • •Provide explanations and demonstrate swimming techniques while correcting faults

Key Requirements

  • •Hold either a STA Award/Certificate in Teaching Swimming or Swim England Level 2
  • •Strong swimmer
  • •Holding RLSS UK NPLQ or NRASTC or STA Safety is advantageous but not essential (training provided)
  • •Excellent customer service skills and ability to work with people of all ages and backgrounds
  • •Be enthusiastic, have a positive attitude and be a team player
