Key Responsibilities

  • •Advance a unified integration and API strategy across 3DS, Token, and emerging authentication methods to simplify customer integrations.
  • •Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to evaluate feasibility, understand tradeoffs, and align on product requirements.
  • •Troubleshoot complex product, integration, and customer implementation issues by framing problems, assessing impact, and recommending resolution paths.
  • •Identify cross-product synergies and recommend reuse of common APIs, platforms, tools, services, data models, and implementation patterns.
  • •Engage clients and participate in industry working groups to translate authentication pain points into Visa’s authentication roadmap and technical specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, or 5+ years with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • •Ability to write code and independently build proof-of-concepts to test and demonstrate new concept ideas.
  • •Strong technical fluency with authentication flows, APIs, data elements, message flows, product capabilities, and integration patterns.
  • •Experience defining product requirements, use cases, flows, acceptance criteria, solution recommendations, or roadmap inputs.
  • •Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment across matrixed teams.
