Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain safe and efficient operation of office spaces, laboratories, pilot plant areas, plant rooms, and site grounds.
  • •Support compliance with Rio Tinto standards, Australian regulations, and site health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  • •Coordinate and oversee electrical, mechanical, cleaning, and other service contractors to deliver quality outcomes.
  • •Coordinate building maintenance activities, security systems, and site service requirements to minimise disruption to operations.
  • •Support office fit-outs, workspace reconfigurations, facility upgrades, and building-related projects from planning through completion.

Key Requirements

  • •Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple facility, maintenance, and contractor activities within a safety-critical environment.
  • •Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, site services, or similar operational support roles in industrial, research, manufacturing, laboratory, or technical environments.
  • •Relevant trade, facilities, maintenance, or building services qualifications, or equivalent practical experience.
  • •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, plus experience using maintenance, contractor management, or facility management processes, including leading/supervising contractors and supporting risk management and safe work procedures.
