Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in Risk Appetite Framework (RAF) refresh and align Technology Risk metrics with enterprise metrics for Italian Legal Entities (ILE).
  • •Coordinate with risk teams across 2LOD and 1LOD to challenge risk assessments, risk appetite reviews, and risk aggregation/challenge activity.
  • •Act as main point of contact for Technology Risk for regulators, Audit, and ILE leadership, including oversight duties aligned to the Risk Governance Framework and remediation of issues/findings.
  • •Input to and influence ILE and Enterprise Technology Risk policies, frameworks, and programs to ensure they meet Italian requirements and are fit for purpose.
  • •Develop and maintain LE metrics dashboards (RAF metrics), perform second-level reviews of IT/IS/Data/AI/business disruption questionnaires, and oversee operational resilience incident communication aligned to DORA.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of leadership experience in risk management or a similar role.
  • •Strong business acumen with a risk-reward control perspective and understanding of risk assessment methodologies, frameworks, and industry standards.
  • •Experience engaging with regulators and familiarity with the Italian regulatory landscape for technology, data, cybersecurity, resilience, and AI risks.
  • •Working understanding of Italian and EU regulatory requirements applicable to technology risk (including DORA, GDPR, and the EU Artificial Intelligence Act), plus data protection requirements.
  • •Experience using Governance, Risk and Compliance tools (e.g., Archer or ServiceNow) and fluency in English and Italian (verbal and written).
