Key Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end onboarding and activation design across the first 120 days for all Clio products customers have access to.
  • •Design and ship in-product onboarding experiences including checklists, empty states, contextual tooltips, progress indicators, and guidance.
  • •Partner with Product to define activation milestones per product/segment and use metrics to evaluate design impact.
  • •Design internal tooling for Onboarding Specialists and Data Migration teams, improving automation and reducing setup time.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally with PM and Engineering across multiple product teams to translate onboarding challenges into shippable solutions.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years of experience in product design with SaaS or B2B product experience strongly preferred.
  • •Experience designing onboarding, activation, or early lifecycle experiences in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • •Ability to think in journeys (e.g., 30/60/90 days) and design multi-role, multi-stakeholder value paths.
  • •Proficiency in user research methodologies and translating findings into actionable design insights.
  • •Proficiency in modern design tools (Figma, Figma Make) and strong understanding of interaction design, usability, visual design, and accessibility.
