Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform sustainment, overhaul, installation/removal, troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair for EPP III engine, main generator, and control panels.
  • •Troubleshoot and repair HVAC systems including chillers and Environmental Control Units, including work on standalone and trailer/vehicle-mounted units.
  • •Maintain military spec generators, uninterrupted power systems (UPS), and commercial power generation equipment.
  • •Operate a load bank and dynometer during testing.
  • •Provide on-site technical maintenance assistance and training to site operations and maintenance personnel; perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of related generator and HVAC/mechanical experience (or BA/BS plus 2 years, or AA/AS plus 4 years).
  • •High school diploma education option required (as listed) with relevant technical experience in generator sustainment.
  • •Extensive diesel engine rebuild and generator experience, including generator parallel systems and switch gear knowledge.
  • •Experience with brazing copper tubing and evacuating/recharging refrigerant for HVAC systems.
  • •Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance and meet US citizenship/passport/driver’s license requirements.
