Key Responsibilities

•Understand API Gateway and service-to-service integration patterns and develop security policies and access control logic for external traffic.
•Lead backend architecture design and drive improvements to code quality with stability, security, and scalability in mind.
•Design and implement authentication and authorization flows between users and APIs.
•Improve backend implementations through security- and reliability-focused refactoring.
•Collaborate with diverse stakeholders to deliver platform and access-control requirements.

Key Requirements

•Tyk (or similar) API Gateway operations and customization experience.
•Understanding or experience with Identity & Access Management (authentication/authorization, user management, permission models).
•Knowledge of authentication/authorization standards such as OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect.
•Practical experience with API security, access control, and traffic management.
•Experience designing and refactoring with stability, security, and scalability in mind.
