Key Responsibilities

  • •Execute multiple transportation and communications projects in a technical capacity, including roadway, safety, transit, and managed lanes efforts.
  • •Identify environmental constraints and lead impact analyses, preparing NEPA technical documents such as community impact assessments and environmental justice analysis.
  • •Manage delivery of task orders under TDOT and/or other agency on-call contracts and other federally funded projects.
  • •Author and manage projects with multidisciplinary internal teams and subcontractors across environmental compliance and permitting phases.
  • •Demonstrate strong understanding of transportation project delivery requirements for FHWA and FTA.

  • •8 years of related transportation environmental planning experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Experience in project and budget management and QA/QC practices.
  • •Experience with permitting and NEPA.
  • •Ability to travel periodically to client and project sites in Tennessee, including overnight stays.
