Job Summary

Drive execution of the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) framework in the first line of defence for the Trust & Fiduciary Services Channel Islands team. Advise risk and control owners through risk assessments, support key control monitoring, determine control effectiveness, and provide oversight of issues and action plans. Act as an independent expert via assurance testing, thematic reviews, and stress testing, collaborating across group TFS teams to keep controls robust and future-ready.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive execution of the Non-Financial Risk (NFR) framework in the first line of defence on behalf of the CEO and COO.
•Advise risk and control owners in the risk assessment process and support monitoring of key controls to determine control effectiveness.
•Provide oversight of issues and action plans, including Continuous Monitoring Assessments and appropriate RCAs.
•Undertake first line of defence assurance testing, including thematic reviews and stress testing, to confirm alignment with laws, regulations, and Group standards.
•Track and follow up on continuous monitoring actions, escalate issues when needed, and report progress to the Monitoring Control Manager.
