Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform routine and complex blood and specimen collection procedures per professional and regulatory standards.
  • •Conduct pre- and post-test counselling for patients and family members.
  • •Identify, prevent, and report risks while following health and safety and infection prevention protocols.
  • •Complete administrative tasks for accurate recording and processing of patient and clinical information.
  • •Ensure all utilised stock is accurately recorded and charged and collaborate within the EC multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements

  • •Registered/Enrolled Nurse, or a Certificate in Phlebotomy Techniques.
  • •At least 1–2 years’ experience after nursing/phlebotomy qualification.
  • •Competence in phlebotomy procedures for routine and complex specimen collection.
  • •Knowledge of statutory/regulatory requirements, clinical policies, and health & safety protocols.
  • •Basic life support training and computer literacy (Microsoft Office).
