Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify business challenges and opportunities and make strategic/tactical recommendations using analysis.
  • •Perform modeling/analytics to support new products/models across lines of business within the Commercial Bank.
  • •Connect drivers of future consumer and commercial credit trends to historical behavior, build risk models, and test hypotheses.
  • •Develop solutions end-to-end: problem framing, hypothesis testing, scope operational feasibility, lead implementation, and create monitoring plans.
  • •Partner with teams across Capital One (Model Development, Credit Officers, Underwriters, Relationship Managers, Finance) to drive credit risk modeling improvements.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 111,200 - 126,900 annually

Key Requirements

  • •At least 2 years of professional experience performing analysis.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field OR Master’s degree in a quantitative field (or MBA with a quantitative concentration).
  • •Experience building statistical models (1+ years) and using analytics to drive decision-making.
  • •1+ years of experience in SQL querying.
  • •Demonstrate strong communication and strategic influencing skills to drive stakeholder agreement.
