Key Responsibilities

  • •Support design, permitting, and coordination of construction drawings for mechanical, plumbing, and controls related to data center cooling.
  • •Evaluate and incorporate MEP customer design requirements on a project-by-project basis.
  • •Guide design using data center cooling strategies, including air-cooled and liquid-cooled solutions for white space.
  • •Provide on-site field support during construction to ensure MEP work follows design specifications and standards; review submittals and RFIs as needed.
  • •Collaborate with design and construction teams to address site challenges, optimize constructability, and help prepare construction documents (CDs) including drawings and specifications.

Key Requirements

  • •Accredited bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (other related fields considered).
  • •3+ years of experience participating in data center (or similar complex industrial) MEP design, preferably for critical cooling systems.
  • •Hands-on field experience with construction activities and strong knowledge of HVAC and plumbing best practices, safety standards, and quality control.
  • •Proficiency with MS Office Suite and tools including Procore, AutoDesk Forma, and Blue Beam Revu.
  • •Knowledge of MEP design and construction practices, including controls (BMS/EMS) and sustainability/integrated design guidelines.
