Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and delivery of cloud-native applications for the Caching Solutions and Rewards System teams. Provide hands-on technical direction through architecture/design and code reviews, implement CI/CD for production readiness, and validate solutions via assessments and proofs of concept. Coordinate delivery execution with Product Management and Platform Engineering, manage risks and dependencies, and ensure consistent engineering practices across multiple geographies.

Key Responsibilities

•Own technical direction, delivery execution, and operational readiness across multiple teams and stakeholders.
•Lead development of cloud-native applications for the Caching Solutions and Rewards System teams to meet committed business outcomes.
•Align scope, sequencing, and technical approach with Product Management to ensure realistic, transparent, measurable delivery plans.
•Implement CI/CD processes for production delivery and drive continuous process improvement.
•Provide hands-on technical leadership via architecture/design reviews, code reviews, and guidance; validate options using assessments and proofs of concept as needed.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of system engineering experience (or High School Diploma/GED with 12+ years).
•8+ years hands-on development with Java and Spring Boot for enterprise-grade services.
•5+ years designing and implementing cloud-native applications using microservices-based architecture.
•Experience with event streaming and asynchronous processing patterns using Kafka.
•Experience deploying and operating on cloud platforms such as AWS and PCF, plus strong knowledge of caching/storage (GemFire, Redis/Elastic cache) and database persistence (MySQL, Aurora SQL, and NoSQL).
