Key Responsibilities

  • •Take charge of pre‑studies for servers or compute enclosures with input from engineers in France and internationally
  • •Draft and maintain the server architecture specification document to guide development, integration, verification and validation throughout the project
  • •Contribute to market watch of target server architectures and emerging technologies
  • •Interact with partners to learn about their advanced programs and participate in international conferences
  • •Collaborate with European experts on Europe‑funded projects

Key Requirements

  • •University degree (bac +5) or Doctorate in engineering or university; minimum 10 years of experience in a development R&D or systems engineering team
  • •Deep understanding of server technologies: CPU, GPU, FPGA, CPLD, DDR5, high‑speed links such as PCIe or NvLink, PCIe switches, power distribution and cooling
  • •Deep understanding of high-speed networks: Ethernet or InfiniBand, NICs, switches, network topologies (fat tree, dragonfly+; optimized rails)
  • •Ability to draft and maintain the server architecture specification document used as input for development, integration, verification and validation teams
  • •Fluent English (spoken and written)
