Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform advanced welding using TIG, MIG, and Oxy Acetylene equipment and shop tools.
  • •Train Welder I, Welder II, and Welder III and provide subject matter guidance as needed.
  • •Analyze work orders, prints, and completed assemblies to calculate requirements and determine welding techniques.
  • •Use measuring equipment and engineering drawings to cut stock and build complex welded miscellaneous assemblies and frame assemblies.
  • •Maintain cleanliness of the work area, handle tools/equipment/stock properly, and follow departmental safety requirements.
