Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical assistance and guidance for substation design and construction support for protection and control (P&C).
  • •Collect, compile, and analyze data for substation equipment, materials, and systems, including procurement package and equipment specification support.
  • •Develop and review P&C design deliverables including single-line/three-line diagrams, control schematics, wiring and interconnection diagrams, and panel documentation.
  • •Support concept and detailed design activities covering equipment sizing, AC/DC systems, control panel design, and cabling/conduit/raceway layouts with safety and constructability focus.
  • •Maintain quality control procedures and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and applicable codes/standards.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • •3 to 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering performing substation protection and control (P&C) design for transmission and distribution projects.
  • •Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship (including H1B, OPT, CPT, or other employment based visas).
  • •Demonstrated experience producing substation P&C design deliverables (control schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, and AC/DC or panel documentation).
  • •Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, regulations, and utility requirements applicable to substation projects.
