Key Requirements

  • •Significant strategic sourcing experience owning cloud infrastructure deals, including negotiating with AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle, or comparable providers.
  • •Strong analytical skills for rate/unit-cost analysis, TCO modeling, and pricing model design (committed spend, consumption-based pricing, capacity agreements).
  • •Experience leading complex, high-value negotiations where rapidly changing consumption makes forecasting and commitments difficult.
  • •Ability to evaluate tradeoffs between commitment, flexibility, unit economics, pricing transparency, and negotiating leverage as usage scales.
  • •Experience partnering with technical and finance stakeholders to translate infrastructure requirements and forecasts into sourcing and negotiation strategy.
