Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze defect data and equipment signals to identify root causes and improvement opportunities for process challenges.
  • •Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive defect reduction and yield improvement across DRAM roadmap projects (including HBM and advanced DRAM technologies).
  • •Use FMEA to understand process flows, failure/defect modes, and associated detection strategies for inline yield characterization.
  • •Define die loss paretos and partner with process and integration teams to design, execute, and analyze experiments and DOEs to resolve yield limitations.
  • •Monitor baseline inline yield health using SPC, escalate issues, coordinate corrective actions, and present findings to internal teams and customers using JMP and Python.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s degree in Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • •Device physics expertise.
  • •Hands-on experience with Design of Experiments (DOE).
  • •Experience applying Statistical Process Control (SPC) for inline yield monitoring.
  • •Knowledge of semiconductor metrology and inspection tools (e.g., SEM, X-ray metrology, optical inspection systems) and Python coding/scripting.
