Job Summary

Design and architect custom workflows, integrations, and platform extensions for Tabs’ most complex, high-value customers. You’ll translate customer requirements into technical solutions across data models, API workflows, and enterprise systems, partner with Product and Engineering to evolve integration patterns, and help shape roadmap priorities based on field signal. Own feasibility and scope during pre-sales and kickoff, guide execution on hard problems, and document reusable patterns.

Job Function: Solutions Engineering & Sales Engineering

Key Responsibilities

•Design technical solutions for complex customer builds by mapping requirements to data models, API workflows, and integration patterns across customer systems.
•Drive scoping conversations by partnering with sales, implementation, and customer success to pressure-test feasibility and avoid scope surprises.
•Define and evolve integration patterns by turning one-off solutions into reusable playbooks and enabling productized capabilities.
•Partner with Product and Engineering to translate field signal into roadmap input and collaborate on new API/platform capabilities.
•Guide execution across projects by reviewing approaches, unblocking design decisions, stepping in on the hardest problems, and investigating third-party systems.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 100,000 - 136,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Experience in solutions architecture, forward-deployed/implementation engineering, technical project management, or a similar role owning customer-facing solution design.
•Experience designing integrations across multiple systems (ERPs, CRMs, billing/payments, tax, or similar), ideally in fintech, SaaS, or B2B.
•Strong systems and API fluency, including reading documentation, reasoning about data models/edge cases, and designing workflows for real usage.
•A track record of surfacing customer/field signal to influence product and engineering priorities.
•Strong cross-functional communication across GTM, Product, Engineering, and customer stakeholders in a startup environment.
