Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage oversight of UK STDF actuals and stress testing outputs to ensure end-to-end process integrity, ownership, and smooth handover.
  • •Own risk and control management including design/uplift of controls (EUCs, calculators, models), RCA preparation, regulatory report inventory, and issue remediation/closure in Helios.
  • •Run UK governance and stakeholder management, representing HBUK at Integrity in Regulatory Reporting Stress Testing Steerco and escalating risks as needed.
  • •Ensure 2027 BCST readiness with documentation, process maps, runbooks, and controls evidence.
  • •Manage UK stress testing delivery across cycles, maintaining audit-ready artefacts and coordinating approvals for STDF actuals sign-off and HBUK return submissions.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of the UK STDF and stress testing frameworks and bank stress testing components.
  • •Experience applying controls and undertaking controls effectiveness testing within a robust control framework.
  • •Strong interpersonal skills with effective stakeholder relationship management.
  • •Ability to continuously develop processes and use automation to enhance the controls environment and efficiency.
  • •Excellent verbal and writing skills with clear, precise, and efficient English.
