Key Responsibilities

•Design water transmission and distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations and lift stations, and perform water/wastewater master planning.
•Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams on larger complex projects, serving as the task lead on various water/wastewater facilities projects.
•Oversee and monitor junior design teams to execute small to medium-sized projects including managing scope, schedule, and budgets, while building client and team relationships.
•Manage project design tasks, permitting and construction coordination as necessary, and provide general guidance to junior engineering staff.
•Uphold quality control standards and procedures for accurate design deliverables, analysis, and reporting.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or closely related discipline
•7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in water resources engineering
•Professional Engineering license required
•Proficiency in design of water/wastewater/storm water pump stations including pump selection and sizing, piping configurations, hydraulic analysis, and integration with mechanical/electrical/structural components
•Proficiency in design of potable transmission mains, sewer trunk mains, distribution, and collection systems with hydraulic analysis, alignment development, and related in-line appurtenances
