Key Responsibilities

  • •Design water transmission and distribution systems, wastewater collection systems, pump stations and lift stations, and perform water/wastewater master planning.
  • •Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams on larger complex projects, serving as the task lead on various water/wastewater facilities projects.
  • •Oversee and monitor junior design teams to execute small to medium-sized projects including managing scope, schedule, and budgets, while building client and team relationships.
  • •Manage project design tasks, permitting and construction coordination as necessary, and provide general guidance to junior engineering staff.
  • •Uphold quality control standards and procedures for accurate design deliverables, analysis, and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering with a focus in Water Resources or closely related discipline
  • •7 to 10 years of relevant post-education experience in water resources engineering
  • •Professional Engineering license required
  • •Proficiency in design of water/wastewater/storm water pump stations including pump selection and sizing, piping configurations, hydraulic analysis, and integration with mechanical/electrical/structural components
  • •Proficiency in design of potable transmission mains, sewer trunk mains, distribution, and collection systems with hydraulic analysis, alignment development, and related in-line appurtenances
