Job Summary

Carry out electrical and instrumentation test and commissioning activities with accountability for specific tasks and increasing autonomy. Take ownership of shift activities while working toward becoming a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on designated test systems. Liaise with stakeholders to ensure safe, compliant execution, maintain accurate auditable records, review and provide feedback on technical documentation, and represent the company during Contractor Sea Trials and external activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and deliver commissioning and maintenance activities with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring compliance with policies, procedures, and legislation.
•Maintain accurate, auditable records of work activities using company systems.
•Coordinate with stakeholders for safe, efficient, and compliant execution of tasks.
•Review, challenge, produce, and provide informed feedback on technical documentation.
•Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to less experienced team members and represent the organisation during sea trials and external activities as required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 37,091

Key Requirements

•HNC/HND (or equivalent) in a STEM subject or equivalent experience.
•Strong understanding of electrical and instrumentation systems, including testing and fault finding.
•Awareness of safety procedures for work in high-risk environments.
•Ability to produce, read, and review technical documents and drawings.
•Competent in using Microsoft Office and other digital systems.
