Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver engaging MYP Mathematics lessons aligned with IB MYP/DP curricula and assessment practices.
  • •Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and data to support learning growth.
  • •Collaborate with the Mathematics department and IB coordinators to maintain high teaching standards and share best practices.
  • •Create inclusive lesson plans that differentiate for diverse learners and promote intercultural understanding.
  • •Uphold safeguarding and welfare policies and contribute to a positive, world-class school community.

Key Requirements

  • •A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent in Mathematics
  • •A minimum of 3 years experience teaching Secondary/High School Mathematics, ideally within an IB curriculum
  • •A strong understanding of the IB MYP/DP framework and Approaches to Teaching is preferred
  • •A passion for continuously improving teaching practice and delivering outstanding learning experiences
  • •Must already have a visa to work in the UAE (UK-enhanced DBS or equivalent police check is a pre-requisite)
