Key Responsibilities

  • •Review work orders, inspection reports, and repair requests to determine required parts and materials.
  • •Research and identify OEM, aftermarket, and remanufactured parts for equipment and vehicle repairs.
  • •Prepare accurate cost estimates and generate/maintain estimates, quotes, and purchase requests in company management systems.
  • •Coordinate with mechanics and shop supervisors to verify repair scopes and parts requirements, and track part orders through delivery with status updates.
  • •Maintain accurate records of parts costs and purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and resolve pricing, warranty, shipment, and return discrepancies.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma/GED and 3 years’ experience in a related field, or an equivalent combination with additional degree/certification.
  • •Strong knowledge of parts estimating, parts management, fleet maintenance, automotive/truck/heavy equipment, or mechanical repair operations.
  • •Knowledge of automotive, diesel, heavy equipment, or industrial mechanical components.
  • •Experience using parts catalogs, inventory systems, and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
  • •Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word) and the ability to read and interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and repair documentation.
