Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the organizational integration of program/project processes and methodologies to ensure initiatives align with strategic vision.
  • •Provide thought leadership to develop and enhance enterprise program/project management methods, tools, and templates to improve experiences.
  • •Lead program steering committees with senior management and program sponsors to build stakeholder relationships and alignment.
  • •Drive operational planning support and collaboration with senior leadership/line-of-business stakeholders to prepare for technical and business execution.
  • •Establish success metrics and ensure risks are identified, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies, while driving adoption of change in line with USAA change methodology.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
  • •10 years of progressive experience in program/project management leadership, process improvement and/or consulting for large strategic efforts.
  • •6 years of people leadership experience building, managing, and/or developing high-performing teams.
  • •Extensive experience delivering complex strategic programs/projects across the full lifecycle (conception through rollout and ongoing support), preferably in a financial institution.
  • •Executive-level change management experience delivering customer/member-facing capabilities in complex multi-channel, multi-product, integrated systems (including Waterfall and Agile).
