Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and supervise marine engineering activities by operating, maintaining, and repairing propulsion, auxiliary, and support systems.
  • •Perform planned maintenance, diagnose defects, and carry out hands-on repairs to keep vessels operational and ready.
  • •Monitor engineering system performance and condition, identifying and escalating defects that affect operational capability.
  • •Delegate tasks and assign duties within the Marine Engineering Department, supporting safe and effective completion of work.
  • •Support the Chief Engineer with management of engineering department activities and ensure statutory, classification society, and RFA engineering requirements are met.
