Key Responsibilities

  • •Create detailed designs, plans, and specifications for plumbing and fire protection systems, aligned with local codes and regulatory requirements.
  • •Evaluate project requirements by interpreting architectural plans and defining the appropriate system size and scope.
  • •Collaborate with architects, project managers, contractors, and other disciplines to integrate plumbing and fire protection systems into overall project plans.
  • •Conduct site visits to inspect installation progress and ensure compliance with approved plans and regulations; troubleshoot plumbing issues during and after construction.
  • •Perform hydraulic and technical calculations, undertake technical/peer reviews, coordinate design reviews, and report variances between constructed work and design intent.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field; plumbing engineering specialization is an advantage.
  • •8+ years of relevant experience in plumbing and fire protection system design, installation, or project management.
  • •Proficiency with plumbing & fire codes/standards (e.g., NFPA, National Plumbing Code, International Plumbing Code) and local building regulations.
  • •Experience using computer-aided design (CAD) tools for plumbing system design, including Pipe net and manufacturer software; Autodesk Revit is a plus.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with strong technical terminology and presentation ability.
